Indonesia is a country rich in a variety of cultures, a wide range of local arts, and customs that vary starting from Sabang to Merauke. This time I will review a tradition that comes from the Kuningan
West Java, a hereditary tradition called kawin cai (marriage springs). Tradition aims to be regional kuningan is always sufficient water and became a fertile area. Beginning of the story, it is said there is a kingdom in an area called Cibulan.In the neighborhood there is a pond with a royal fish in it. One day a strange phenomenon, but the water in the pool runs out of fish in it also disappeared. No one knows where the fish are gone. It is said that the fish moved to the scene of mulya area. From there the story of the origin of the water mated to the scene of mulya Cibulan. According to the story Cibulan springs was formerly a hermitage 7 wells. Until now this tradition is still believed by the people of the kuningan. Kuningan Society perform traditional kawin cai (mating springs) on certain days, aim to ask God to always given the kuningan area of soil fertility. Tradition kawin cai (marriage springs) is done by taking water from springs Cibulan and entered into a pitcher, then the water is brought to the scene of mulya springs. The process of the show takes place sacred.
